Shungite

Discovered in Russia. You can find a carbon-rich mineraloid variety of pyrobitumen named Shungite(1). You can also find a metamorphosed oil shale (a variety of sedimentary rock) that contains that pyrobitumen, is derived from algae, and was formed during Precambrian times named Shungite(2). Shungite(2) is sometimes further subdivided based on either carbon content or luster. While the carbon contents are different (1 => 98% and 2<98%), that is not the singular difference between the two. The term has evolved from describing the original mineraloid to include a wide variety of rocks with similar carbon layers.

This is the ‘crystal’ (it’s actually a mineraloid) that people talk about purifying water with. It helps insomnia, relieves pain and inflammation, and boosts energy. You can place it on your wounded body and it will help you heal. It helps with joint aches and detoxification and EMF protection!
