My Survivor Story

I have resolved to complete this work. I may face the judgment of people who don’t understand, but it is more important to try to help. Perhaps I can help someone see the red flags they might not have otherwise seen, and prevent a situation similar to mine. Perhaps I can help someone else realize that old, outdated, repressive belief systems that would have us hold on to a marriage for the sake of societal approval, only enables the damage it does to our emotional, mental, and physical well being-our soul even.
