Kyanite (ˈkī-ə-ˌnīt )- Al₂(SiO₄)O

Kyanite is a common silicate mineral. It is blue, black, white, grey, green, yellow, orange and pink. It has a vitreous or sub-vitreous, greasy, or pearly luster and a 5.5-7 hardness in the triclinic system.
