Labradorite

Labradorite – (Ca,Na)[Al(Al,Si)Si₂O₈]

Labradorite is a Plagioclase Feldspar of the anorthite variety. It is typically found in a pale green, blue, or grey-ish color. It has a sub-vitreous luster and a Moh’s Hardness of 6-6.5. Everyone loves it for its flash (called labradorescence) which is the result of way the crystal grows which produces an iridescent optical effect ( or schiller) at just the right angle.

Physically, it is thought to help with respiratory health, digestion, and metabolism. It is also considered helpful with the immune system and healing related ailments.

Emotionally and Mentally, this is the stone of courage and transformation. Labradorite will help you push past your self limiting beliefs and really go there.
